About the Role:

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Manchester. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for handling claims and business enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team. They will also have strong fact-finding abilities and attention to detail.

Our team provides full training and support using a state-of-the-art computer system, offering opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Process client information and update records on the PROCLAIM system.
  • Handle new claims and business enquiries, gathering relevant data and entering it into the system.
  • Support the team by completing diary tasks, including contacting referrers, third-party insurers, and medical agencies.
  • Communicate with clients, obtaining key information and recording results in line with quality standards.
  • Meet targets and deadlines, ensuring all paperwork and case information is up-to-date.
  • Organise medical appointments and ensure due process is followed.
  • Record insurance policies and communicate with witnesses.
  • Conduct administrative tasks, including document management, bundle preparation, and telephone support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong fact-finding ability.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Maintain relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Core qualifications: GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.

The estimated salary for this position is £20,820 rising to £22,222 plus bonus.
