About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant Manager to join our dedicated estates team. As part of this role, you will contribute to the efficient management of school facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards. You will conduct routine inspections of the school premises to identify maintenance needs, ensure the school site is safe and secure at all times, and respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

You will facilitate school setups and the general running of the school day, carry out general maintenance, repairs, painting, and decoration across the site, assist with the smooth running of external lettings, support health and safety compliance within the estate, including the swimming pool, and provide support with car park management during busy periods.

You will liaise and assist contractors when necessary, help with special school functions such as Open Days and Entrance Exam Days, ensure the school site is safe, especially during adverse weather conditions, and take a proactive approach to improving and developing the school estate.

A competitive salary of £12.50 per hour is offered, commensurate with your level of experience, along with the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
