IT Field Technician Placement Programme

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT Field Technician Placement Programme. This programme is designed for individuals who are looking to start a career in IT and do not require prior experience.

Our programme is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT industry while working with a large national IT contracting company. You will have the chance to work with a variety of clients, including Virgin Media, RICOH, Computacentre, Fortinet, and Fujitsu.

As an IT Field Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients. You will work closely with our experienced team to resolve technical issues and provide excellent customer service.

The programme consists of three stages:

  1. Accredited Online Training: You will complete three industry-recognised courses from CompTIA, which will provide you with a solid foundation in IT. The training is delivered online and includes multimedia-rich video tutorials, practice labs, presentations, and quizzes.
  2. 5-Day Workshop: You will attend a 5-day workshop with our IT contracting partner, where you will demonstrate your skills and knowledge in a practical setting. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your abilities and gain feedback from our experienced team.
  3. Working in IT: Upon successful completion of the workshop, you will begin working with our partner on your first contract. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a real-world setting.

We offer a flexible programme that can be completed at a pace that suits you. You will have access to full tutor support and mentoring throughout the programme, and we will reimburse up to £180 towards the costs of accommodation and travel for the 5-day workshop.

Our programme has a high success rate, with 95% of our candidates being offered a contract after completing the 5-day workshop. We are confident that our programme will provide you with the skills and experience you need to succeed in the IT industry.
