About the Role
Lakeside Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Patient Services Advisor. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Process appointment requests from patients for on the day and future appointments by telephone and in person.
- Deal with visit requests and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Registration of new patients, computer data entry, and medical records management.
- Process repeat prescription requests in accordance with practice guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and photocopying as required.
- Receiving patients and consulting with members of the practice team.
- Handing completed repeat prescriptions to the patient and checking names and address.
- Be able to cover all reception positions as necessary.
- Keeping the reception area, notice-boards, and leaflet dispensers tidy and free from obstructions and clutter.
Requirements
- Customer Service Skills
- Experience of working in a busy and multi-functional team.
- Call centre experience or equivalent.
- Good standard of education.
- Customer Service qualification (desirable).
