Children's Support Worker Job Description
Lily Residential Services is recruiting a highly motivated and caring individual to become a part of our team as a Residential Childcare Worker. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the lives of children by providing them with love, care, and education.
Responsibilities:
- Offering daily assistance to children, encompassing their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Create an atmosphere that encourages the children's overall development, including social, emotional, and cognitive progress.
- Ensuring the children's living environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained, while following all necessary health and safety protocols.
Salary Details:
- £29,959.80 - £31,176.60 annual salary (inclusive of sleep-in rate)
- Hourly pay: £11.60 - £12.20
- Sleep-in allowance: £55.00 (average of 2.25 sleep-ins per week)
Essential Skills:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in childcare or related field.
- Proven experience working with children in residential settings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
