About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Companion to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals across Southampton.
Job Responsibilities
- Promoting and encouraging independence while assisting with daily routines.
- Identifying new opportunities for integration, participation, and inclusion available to those we support, both within our services and the community.
- Providing quality personal care, which could include bathing, toileting, etc., and participating in household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, ironing, washing, etc.
Requirements
- A valid full driving license and access to your own motorised transport.
- A business insurance policy.
What We Offer
- Paid travel time at £11.80 per hour.
- Paid mileage calculated at 45p per mile (where applicable).
- A paid day off on your birthday.
- Six weeks paid holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).

- Training time paid at the National Living Wage rate.
- Guaranteed hour contracts, if desired.
- Pay enhancements for a care qualification over level 2 (50p uplift if you hold a Level 2 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care).
