About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.


As a Clinical Physiotherapist, you will work with adults and some paediatric patients, assessing and treating patients from various referral resources.


You will be responsible for supervising junior staff and students, leading classes and contributing to service development initiatives.


The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable, with excellent communication skills, providing mainly face-to-face appointments.


Main Responsibilities



  • Holding responsibility for own caseload and working without direct supervision
  • Undertaking all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner and maintaining associated records
  • Assisting with supervision, education and assessment of physiotherapy students and junior therapy staff
  • Participating in evidence-based audit and research projects to further clinical practice
