Role Overview

This exciting opportunity is part of the Student Support Hub's team of Student Advisers. You will work in a brand-new hub designed to provide central support on our Clerkenwell campus, fostering a sense of community among students.

This fixed-term role until 31 July 2025 has the potential for extension. As a key member of our team, you will deliver front-line customer support to students, responding to queries and cases via Livechat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, efficient, and welcoming service to students attending the Student Support Hub.
  • Monitor and respond to student queries/cases raised via the Livechat function.
  • Contribute positively to process improvement, inclusivity, and an integrated cross-service approach.
Requirements
  • A flexible approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A good understanding of diverse student issues and effective communication with students from various backgrounds.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles in a student support environment.
  • Excellent team working skills and awareness of confidentiality boundaries in a Higher Education setting.

To meet the needs of our Student Support Hub, you may be required to work a 35-hour week as part of an operating roster. Current operating hours are 09:00-18:30 (term time) and 09:00-17:00 (non-term time), subject to variation based on service requirements.
