Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Wenlock School in Dudley, West Midlands. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualized support to pupils with complex needs, including those with social, emotional, and learning challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people
  • Work in accordance with professional practice, statutory and legal requirements, and the policies of The Wenlock School
  • Take on specific tasks related to the day-to-day administration and organization of the school
  • Take responsibility for specific areas of work, which will be reviewed annually and negotiated within the performance management cycle and school improvement process
  • Take on any additional responsibilities as determined

Requirements

Experience working with SEND schools is essential. You must be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for pupils with complex needs.
