Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant at The Emory, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting daily audits of revenue sources, including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and other income-generating activities.
  • Identifying and investigating discrepancies or irregularities in financial records, promptly reporting findings to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to revenue reporting and recording.
  • Collaborating with other departments to reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
  • Preparing detailed reports summarizing audit findings and recommendations for corrective action.
