About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Data Protection and Security Coordinator at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.



Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinating the Trust's responses to requests under the Freedom of Information Act and processing Subject Access Requests/Disclosures for patients, staff, and members of the public in relation to their personal data.
  • Investigating Data Breaches to help the Trust learn and evolve.
  • Facilitating and reviewing assessments of data privacy, data sharing or processing agreements, and providing advice and guidance on breaches of data.


Requirements



  • Experience of managing a busy caseload and excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate specialist/complex issues effectively at all levels and develop, establish, and maintain positive relationships with others.
  • Flexible approach to meet the conflicting demands of the job and ability to prioritize own workload autonomously.
  • Ability and willingness to adopt an agile approach to work and travel between sites and to external meetings.
