About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Protection and Security Coordinator at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Trust's responses to requests under the Freedom of Information Act, processing Subject Access Requests / Disclosures for patients, staff, and members of the public, and investigating Data Breaches.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent IT skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and effective interpersonal skills when liaising with staff across the Trust.

What We Offer

We offer a 19-month Level 4 Apprenticeship that will cover all you need to know for this role, as well as on-the-job training and monthly 1:1 support with your supervisor and team support.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is flexible and resilient, with experience of managing a busy caseload and excellent attention to detail. You will also need to have a good understanding of the Data Protection Act / UK GDPR, Freedom of Information and Access to Health Records Legislation.
