Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide individualized support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student, assist in developing academic skills, and monitor progress. Collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals is essential to ensure holistic support for students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students with SEN
  • Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Assist students in developing academic skills and achieving educational goals
  • Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students with SEN
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
  • Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role
Working Conditions:
  • Part-Time hours
  • Flexible schedule
  • Work primarily in educational institutions or student's homes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
