Overview

LONDON BRIDGE HOSPITAL seeks a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hospital.
  • Cleaning private rooms and public areas, including communal spaces and patient care areas.
  • Producing weekly rotas and scheduling tasks to meet the needs of the hospital.
  • Maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules and task completion.

Requirements

To be successful as a Housekeeping Supervisor at LONDON BRIDGE HOSPITAL, you will need:

  • Experience supervising housekeeping teams within a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • A clear understanding of legislation and regulations related to hygiene, health and safety, and uniform standards.
  • A can-do attitude and a focus on customer service, with a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients and their families.
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
