Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Play and Youth Deputy Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality play and leisure services to our clients, ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver play and leisure services to disabled children and young people, promoting their social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement play programs, ensuring they meet the needs and interests of our clients.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and inclusive play environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with disabled children and young people, preferably in a play or leisure setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and school holidays.
