Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Engineer to join our Group HR team in a brand new, exciting role within our global deployment programme. As part of our wider HR Transformation programme, the successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements to support the systems in use across HR, including Oracle HCM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain SmartRecruiters ATS, Careers site, and CRM, working closely with Zellis (ResourceLink) to align with L&G HR policies and processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of ResourceLink (Zellis), SmartRecruiters, and Oracle HCM cloud applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues via case management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedure documentation, and configuration workbooks.
  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document HR system requirements and translate them into Zellis/SmartRecruiters and Oracle.
  • Work closely with internal L&G teams, including IT, Data, and Integrations, to ensure the design, functionality, and processes are aligned with change impact analysis to any downstream functionality.
  • Provide user training and knowledge transfer to support HR staff and end users to ensure effective utilization of the system.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Oracle HCM is essential.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Previous experience with HR transformations, including recruitment.
