About the Role

This SEN Learning Support Assistant position is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH/ASC needs in Kidderminster.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to support our students with their learning and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver high-quality educational activities and experiences that cater to diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 award in Support work in schools, GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above, and knowledge of safeguarding principles.
  • Experience working with students with SEN or SEMH/ASD, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
