We are seeking an experienced Advanced Critical Care Practitioner to join our dynamic Critical Care team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to critically ill patients across the Trust.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will work closely with our extended Critical Care team and medical colleagues to provide autonomous or consultant-supervised care to patients on acute wards and in the Emergency Department. You will be responsible for reviewing patients, developing care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
As a critical member of our team, you will contribute to the development of a flexible and sustainable workforce for Critical Care in the Emergency Care Hospital. You will also have the opportunity to participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for an experienced Advanced Critical Care Practitioner who holds Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine membership and has a strong desire to develop themselves to deliver outstanding care within the four pillars of advanced clinical practice. The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of clinical skill, and a commitment to delivering evidence-based practices.
