  • Develop new insurance products in Executive and Professional Lines
  • Amend insurance documentation in response to legal and regulatory change
  • Draft, negotiate and amend policy wordings and related documentation
  • Lead negotiations regarding wordings with business partners and brokers
  • Stay up-to-date with legal and regulatory developments and inform underwriters
  • Instruct external counsel as appropriate
  • Deliver training and coaching to underwriters and claims colleagues
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 5 years' insurance wordings/coverage experience
  • Technical insurance knowledge across one or more product lines
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory and licensing considerations
  • General legal knowledge of topics such as GDPR and insurance distribution
  • Understanding of the London and European company markets and the Lloyd's market
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication, organisational, time management and project management skills
