We're seeking a skilled Marketing and Ecommerce Executive to join our Marketing team at Arnold Clark Group's Head Office in Glasgow. With a strong Marketing team of over 100 members, we keep all marketing activities in-house. Our team collaborates with 30 global car brands, promotes employee initiatives, and drives various ecommerce marketplaces. We offer the freedom to develop your own ideas while working in teams to deliver innovative marketing.

As a Marketing and Ecommerce Executive, you'll work closely with the ecommerce department, designers, developers, photographers, and copywriters to plan, implement, and analyze all marketing activities for your stakeholders. You'll make data-driven decisions and have a strong analytical mindset.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting over 250,000 products across various ecommerce marketplaces, branches, and trade delivery networks.
  • Improving customer experience to maximize conversion and retention.
  • Planning innovative marketing activities to drive business online and offline.
  • Developing and implementing an omni-channel digital marketing strategy.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the business and working to tight deadlines and within budget.
  • Writing search-optimized copy and implementing best-practice SEO.
  • Creating engaging email campaigns and landing pages with web designers.
  • Managing social media PPC campaigns with in-house social media specialists.
  • Reporting regularly on marketing activity to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar, fast-paced ecommerce/digital environment.
  • Experience working on Shopify or similar ecommerce platform.
  • Strong direct marketing strategies, including designed, plain text, and automation.
  • Experience in both retail and B2B marketing.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationships and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with email, paid advertising, and social media.
  • Curiosity and a desire to stay up-to-date with the industry and digital marketing landscape.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills (training provided).
