Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our commercial finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the achievement of our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial Business Partners to conduct commercial performance reviews and provide financial support to the business.
  • Work closely with General Managers to develop financial solutions that maximize the profitability of the business.
  • Provide high-quality financial support and guidance to the business, leveraging your commercial understanding of the market and divisional objectives.
  • Present monthly results at Segment/Commercial Team meetings, highlighting areas of concern and facilitating resolution.
  • Identify and manage key risks on a project and Segment basis.
  • Act as a catalyst for change, challenging decision-making based on sound financial and commercial reasoning.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in the negotiation, monitoring, and conclusion of key activities.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong engagement, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.
