Job Title: Ergonomics Specialist

Location: Plymouth (hybrid working, onsite fortnightly)

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ergonomics Specialist to join our team.

  1. Provide professional support to the Principal Engineer on design, safety assessment, and human performance related aspects of our business.
  2. Undertake ergonomic design development, safety assessment, and verification/validation of high hazard systems, processes, and facilities.
  3. Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and programmes for ergonomic assessment work in support of business programmes.
  4. Support engagement with regulatory bodies on Human Factors related issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in human factors engineering with a focus on ergonomics, safety assessment, and human reliability analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Estimated Salary: 65000 - 80000 per annum, depending on experience. This is an initial 66 weeks contract.
