Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team at TQR in Plymouth. As a key member of our Process Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and optimizing production workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct 4-block updates on focus lines to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Develop and implement strategies to return lines to Loss-Reduced State (LSA) using data analysis from various sources.
  • Analyze and resolve repeat loss issues using systematic problem-solving techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Reliability Leader to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance standards.
Requirements
  • HNC or Degree level education in Engineering/Mechatronics or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a Process/Manufacturing or Production Engineer with high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment expertise.
  • Strong understanding of Six Sigma methodologies and ability to apply them effectively.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience with safety and ergonomics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Systems and their implementation.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
