About the Role

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Human Factors Engineer to join their team in the nuclear defence industry. The successful candidate will work within a human factors team, supporting engineers and other scientific disciplines in the design development of new or modified site systems, processes, and facilities.

Main Responsibilities

">
  1. The design development of new or modified site systems, processes, and facilities, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment.
  2. Providing human factors input into the nuclear safety assessment process.
  3. Supporting the successful implementation and validation of the human performance elements of the safety case within the operation business setting.

Requirements

">
  • A first degree in Psychology plus MSc in Occupational Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Industrial Psychology, or Ergonomics-based discipline, or an engineering degree with high psychological/ergonomics content (or equivalent).
  • Registration as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors or the British Psychological Society with experience working in the Human Factors field within high-hazard industries.
  • The ability to clearly understand engineering concepts and communicate effectively with engineers and other scientific disciplines on human factors-related matters.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Millbank Holdings Ltd offers a range of benefits, including equal opportunities employment and a commitment to diversity.
