About the Role

Percival is delighted to partner with Swanage Pier Trust to find a skilled Fundraiser Manager to join their team.

Swanage Pier Trust is a charity dedicated to preserving and maintaining the historic Pier at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

With over 125,000 visitors annually, fundraising is crucial to preserving the Pier. This role has been created to maximize fundraising opportunities by working closely with the CEO on strategy development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create innovative fundraising initiatives and donor opportunities across various income streams.
  • Develop a network of fundraising volunteers to assist in the process.
  • Steward long-term supporters.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in developing new fundraising pipelines.
  • Prior experience using a fundraising database.
  • Experience writing successful fundraising proposals, bids, and reports.
  • Hit and exceeded financial and non-financial fundraising targets.
  • Commitment to the development of Swanage Pier and heritage sites.
