Senior Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Spectrum IT Recruitment. As a key member of our network team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex network solutions, performing cost analyses, and providing 24x7 on-call support.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Complex Network Solutions: Utilize your expertise in Cisco networking technology to design and develop integrated network solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Perform Cost Analyses and Vendor Comparisons: Conduct thorough cost analyses and vendor comparisons to ensure that our clients receive the best value for their investment.
- Provide 24x7 On-Call Support: Provide timely and effective support to our clients, ensuring that their network infrastructure is always up and running.
- Develop Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest network and telecommunications systems and technologies, and develop your expertise in these areas.
- Communicate System Operations and Environment Changes: Effectively communicate system operations and environment changes to our clients, ensuring that they are always informed and up-to-date.
- Adhere to Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that all network and telecommunications systems and technologies comply with relevant regulatory requirements, such as SOX and PCI.
- Understand and Avoid Capacity, Redundancy, and Health Constraints: Utilize your expertise to understand and avoid capacity, redundancy, and health constraints of network and telecommunications systems and technologies.
- Ensure Security Requirements are Met: Ensure that all security requirements are met, and that our clients' network infrastructure is secure and protected.
- Provide Technical Input to Solution Development Plans: Provide technical input to solution development plans and concept documents, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions.
- Demonstrate Understanding of Business Impacts: Demonstrate your understanding of the business impacts of issues and how they relate to IT-owned solutions.
- Perform and Plan Major Version Upgrades: Perform and plan major version upgrades of network and telecommunications systems and technologies.
- Design and Implement Effective Monitoring: Design and implement effective monitoring of enterprise systems, ensuring that our clients are always informed and up-to-date.
- Plan and Manage Technical Projects: Plan and manage technical projects involving other teams, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions.
- Contribute to Technical Research: Contribute to technical research on new technologies, processes, or procedures, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have several years of experience across Cisco networking technology, with extra kudos given if you've worked with Cisco Nexus, ACI, Cisco ASA, Cisco Wireless, Cisco DMVPN, and MPLS.
