Job Summary
Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex network solutions, performing cost analyses, and providing 24x7 on-call support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrated network solutions to meet business requirements
- Perform cost analyses and vendor comparisons for network projects
- Provide on-call support to ensure network uptime and availability
- Develop technical expertise on network systems and technologies
- Communicate network operations and environment changes to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOX and PCI
- Understand and mitigate network capacity, redundancy, and health constraints
- Ensure network security requirements are met
- Provide technical input to solution development plans and concept documents
- Understand business impacts of network issues and provide solutions
- Perform and plan major network upgrades
- Design and implement network monitoring solutions
- Plan and manage technical projects involving network teams
- Contribute to technical research on new network technologies and processes
Requirements
The successful Senior Network Engineer will have several years of experience with Cisco networking technology, with a strong understanding of Cisco Nexus, ACI, Cisco ASA, Cisco Wireless, Cisco DMVPN, and MPLS. Experience with network design, implementation, and management is essential.
