Senior Network Architect Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect Manager to join our team at BT Group. As a key member of our network design team, you will be responsible for shaping the network strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality network designs that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement network designs that meet the technical and security requirements of our customers.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver network designs on time and to budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop network designs that meet those needs.
- Manage and prioritize team workload to ensure efficient delivery of network designs.
- Develop and maintain network design best practices within the team.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, sales, product, vendors, and suppliers.
- Ensure security compliance of network designs in line with TSA requirements.
- High and low-level network design skills in Mobile Backhaul, Ethernet, and Optical networks.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams through periods of change.
- People management and leadership skills.
- Detailed understanding of customer experience drivers and skills in driving improvement in customer experience.
- Experience of delivering through Agile ways of working.
- Experience of use of NetDevOps and automation to improve ways of working.
- Commercial savviness; budgeting, demand management, vendor management.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the team.
- Mandatory: Experience of designing Mobile Backhaul, Ethernet, and Optical networks (high and low-level designs).
- Mandatory: Experience of working directly with large customers, understanding their networks and business models.
- Mandatory: Experience of inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver to Channel and Customer requirements.
- Mandatory: Experience of Agile ways of working.
- Mandatory: Experience in NetDevOps and automation implementation.
- Mandatory: Understanding of TSA requirements of Network Design and designing appropriately.
- Preferable: Roadmap setting or technology architecture experience.
- Preferable: HNC/HND/Degree and/or Chartered Engineer Status and member of a professionally registered institution.
