Job Title: Maintenance Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Operative to join our team at Source4 Personnel Solutions. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily visual inspections of the buildings to identify any issues or defects
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, decorating, and minor repairs
  • Manage the parcel locker system and bin store
  • Prepare flats for move-ins and deal with tenant queries
  • Communicate with the managing agent and other stakeholders
  • Deal with general maintenance and decorative issues within the communal areas and flats
  • Complete minor repairs to appliances and plumbing
  • Undertake cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, and deep cleaning

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good general maintenance background and ability to deal with basic repairs
  • Ability to decorate and direct on-site cleaners
  • Excellent customer-facing skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to assist in other buildings as required
