Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in crisis. As a Crisis Liaison Practitioner, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess and develop treatment plans for service users presenting to our Emergency Department.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience in assessment, planning, and implementation of care. You will be responsible for coordinating the care of service users, ensuring that their needs are met, and that they receive the best possible support.

Main Duties
  1. To provide high-quality, evidence-based care to service users in crisis.
  2. To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess and develop treatment plans.
  3. To coordinate the care of service users, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible support.
  4. To supervise and support junior staff in the delivery of care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in mental health.
  • Experience in assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
