**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Cambridge, UK. As part of our mission to deliver exceptional photo experiences, you will be working on developing innovative machine learning algorithms for Apple's Photos app.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop privacy-preserving machine learning models for Apple Intelligence features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into the Photos app
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine learning and deep learning

**Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning-based software applications
  • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and deep learning techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment

**Nice to Have:**

  • Experience with large language models and parameter-efficient fine-tuning
  • Knowledge of inference speed-up techniques and optimization of LLMs
  • Proficiency in deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch
