Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Physiotherapist to lead our Critical Care and Surgical Physiotherapy services at QEQM hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical specialist to develop and evaluate critical care and surgical physiotherapy services, providing therapeutic expertise and high-quality advice to the multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have 5 years postgraduate experience in a relevant clinical area, with a proven record of providing high-quality intervention and clinical educator experience. They will also participate in clinical audit, evidence of clinical supervision, and service development/quality improvement initiatives.

This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development, with a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and evaluate critical care and surgical physiotherapy services at QEQM hospital
  • Provide therapeutic clinical expertise and high-quality advice to the multidisciplinary team
  • Clinical supervision, appraisal, and teaching will be key components of this role
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaborative working skills
  • Ensure clinical governance targets are met, including development of clinical standards and protocols
