Health & Safety Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead our team on a new build project in Norfolk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a safe working environment on site
  • Develop and implement bespoke systems of work in collaboration with the Group H&S manager
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Project Director and Group H&S manager
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure all processes and policies are up to date and fit for purpose
  • Work with stakeholders to drive improvements and ensure consistency in Health & Safety standards
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks through trend analysis
  • Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions to site personnel
  • Prepare for audits and inspections by the Group H&S manager

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Health & Safety within construction or M&E contracting
  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Ability to work site-based for the duration of the project
