About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Configuration and Data Manager team, you will be responsible for managing the configuration and associated data for our client's UK projects and products. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Product Assurance Managers to ensure the integrity, validity, and maintenance of configuration records, history, and traceability across the lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in Configuration and Data Management, Space Engineering Firms, or the use of PLM tools is highly desirable. Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, the candidate should have outstanding problem-solving skills and a passion to solve difficult issues.

A salary of approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience, plus benefits. This role requires availability to obtain Baseline Security. Security Clearance or ability to obtain it would be advantageous. Normally based in the Harwell office, but requiring some time in the Bristol office and occasional UK or International Travel. A driver's licence that is valid in the UK is preferable.

Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the registration and release of configuration information
* Responsible for the integrity, validity, and maintenance of configuration records, history, and traceability across the lifecycle
* Responsible for the verification of internal and external technical data
* Ensures the availability of up-to-date recorded technical data
* Records configuration baselines
* Supports related teams in terms of PLM tools
* Participates in Lead the CCB preparation and follow-up
* Contributes to process and tools improvement, coaching of peers and new tool end-users
* Preparation of Review Data Packages and End Item Data Pack (EIDP)

Quality Management System:
* Contribute to Business Improvement Plans and Actions, in particular the ones related to Customer's satisfaction improvement
* Quality Management System implementation
* Company Quality dashboard
* Support Company Certifications
* Contribute to lesson learnt capturing and implementation

Additional Requirements:
* Normally based in the Harwell office but a certain amount of time will be required to work in the Bristol office and will also require UK or International Travel
* Availability to obtain Baseline Security is necessary
* Security Clearance or ability to obtain it would be advantageous
