Job Description

Career Track and level: Management Level 3

This technical leadership role is a key position within our Product Squads' success. You'll work closely with Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams to align on business goals, objectives, and technical vision, while helping the wider organisation understand how our engineers deliver our products.

  1. Identify team challenges and serve as the voice of the Engineering function to key stakeholders, influencing decisions to deliver solutions.
  2. Drive a culture of innovation and fast feedback, emphasizing outcome-driven development while building a collaborative and inclusive environment where all squad members feel heard.
  3. Foster sustainable engineering practices with a focus on quality and maintainable solutions.
  4. Create a nurturing culture where squad members feel motivated and empowered to deliver impactful products, fostering a fun, safe environment based on trust, collaboration, and respect.
  5. Coach squad members on quality, communication, and best practices, mentoring team members on domain expertise yet to be acquired.
  6. Address skill gaps to ensure optimal squad performance through recruitment or training.
  7. Encourage continuous learning by identifying training opportunities and supporting squad members' attendance.
