Position Overview

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef team to deliver consistently high-quality Chinese dishes
  • Oversee and assist the kitchen staff on a daily basis
  • Inspire the team and ensure effective management of high-pressure situations
  • Develop production timelines to uphold quality standards and operational efficiency
  • Design Chinese recipes that align with budgetary constraints and manage food expenses
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Perform quality assessments on both raw ingredients and finished dishes
  • Foster positive relationships with team members, partners, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Genuine enthusiasm for authentic Chinese culinary arts
  • Previous experience in a Specialist Chinese Chef role
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a constructive mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience in a comparable position or within the upscale food sector
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
