As a Nutrition and Wellbeing Advisor at Avature, you will play a crucial role in supporting service users/participants to make sustainable changes to improve their overall health and wellbeing.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide medium and high need nutritional and behaviour change services, empowering adults and children to manage their weight and lifestyle behaviours effectively.

You will be responsible for delivering group weight management services that are underpinned by behaviour change methodology, ensuring information, advice and guidance is engaging, age-appropriate, informative, accurate, evidence-based, culturally relevant, fun, resourceful, transferable and applicable to attendees.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver group weight management services that empower service users/participants to manage their weight and lifestyle behaviours effectively.
  2. Support outreach community engagement work, including screening services, community and stakeholder events, external meetings and networks.
  3. Work in line with business and contract performance requirements, implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and fulfilling policies and quality management framework expectations.
Requirements:
  • Affiliate Nutrition registered degree in Nutrition or HCPC registered degree in dietetics with portfolio evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Experience in delivering group-based behaviour change interventions to children, families, or adults, with evidence of supporting vulnerable individuals through a change process.
  • Experience of caseload management demonstrated via the use of a Case Management System.
  • Salary: £25,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
