Role Overview

We are seeking a Consenting and Environmental Specialist to join our team in Brighton/Falmer. As a Consenting and Environmental Specialist, you will advise on high-value capital projects and support relevant project teams.

The successful candidate will have a good grounding in consenting (planning), environment and regulatory law, with experience of DCOs and working on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support on high-value capital projects, advising on technically challenging matters and supporting relevant project teams.
  • Advise on range of planning matters which will include the consenting processes, conducting planning inquiries and examinations, statutory consultation process and Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Draft and negotiate various planning agreements relating to the consenting process for infrastructure.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $95,000 - $110,000 per annum
  • 10% Bonus
  • 11% Pension contributions
  • 25 days holiday + bank holiday
