Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Town Hall Administrator to join our team at Hereford City Council.
About the Position:
This 9-month fixed-term contract involves providing administrative support to the Parish Council and its committees. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a high level of fluency in spoken and written English, and experience with document production, proofreading, and dissemination.
Main Duties:
- Manage records, calendars, and the website to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and distribute meeting materials, including agendas and supporting documents.
- Edit and disseminate meeting minutes to Councillors and publish on the website.
- Maintain a spreadsheet of Councillor attendance.
- Support grant applications and administration.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £14,521 per annum (SCP 7-12), 23 days annual leave with three extra statutory days at Christmas, pro rata, and a dynamic work environment.
