Pharma Business Development Director

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes strategic initiatives to drive business growth in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Manages cross-functional teams to deliver pharmaceutical products and solutions, ensuring timely and quality results.
- Creates and communicates business cases, product roadmaps, and pricing strategies to drive product launches and commercialization.
- Builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to ensure alignment and support.
- Identifies and evaluates inorganic growth opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations, to drive business expansion.
- Develops and manages key performance indicators to measure business performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Serves as a key representative of the pharmaceutical business, providing strategic guidance and support to executive leadership and regional commercial teams.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Degree or higher in life, physical, or chemical sciences, technology, or business-related field
- Professional marketing qualification or MBA equivalent
Experience & Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in people, functional, or project management
- Strong experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with a solid understanding of regulatory landscapes
- Ability to build relationships and rapport across organizations
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and leadership skills
- Strategic vision, organizational, planning, and execution skills
- Sound business acumen with keen sales and commercial understanding
- Financial and fiscal experience with budgetary guidelines
Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 25% of time internationally
The ideal candidate will be located within commuting distance of Waters Wilmslow, UK, or Waters, Milford, MA, USA
