Commercial Manager

Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team in Reading, UK. As a key member of our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) team, you will play a critical role in our expansion within the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the RFP response and competitive bid processes for projects in EMEA, analyzing commercial and legal aspects of Customer RFPs to develop a competitive submission.
- Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop key requirements for RFPs to sub-contractors and evaluate bid results.
- Responsible for bid analysis and modeling to support the strategic procurement process.
- Work with the supply chain to capture competitive intelligence and generate insights on the BESS landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Finance, or Economics.
- Commercial contract negotiation and RFPs management experience in the energy sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
- Fluent in English in speaking and writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take critical decisions under time pressure.
