Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Mathematics to a range of student abilities and year groups, fostering a love of learning and promoting academic success.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire students and encourage active participation.
  • Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure all students reach their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics department and contribute to curriculum development, driving academic excellence.
  • Support students with extracurricular activities, including academic clubs and competitions, promoting a well-rounded education.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject (QTS is highly desirable).
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level, with knowledge of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for Mathematics and a commitment to student success.
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities.
