About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Team Lead to join our Birmingham-based team. Reporting to the Compliance Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in the client onboard team.

Your primary focus will be on supporting the team with client due diligence, AML & KYC Checks, and all new and existing client matter onboarding. You will also be responsible for managing the workflow, providing hands-on support to the team, and continuing training and support across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 10, including 2 senior direct reports
  • Support the team with client due diligence, AML & KYC Checks, and all new and existing client matter onboarding
  • Manage the workflow and provide hands-on support to the team
  • Continuously train and support team members
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in compliance within a law firm
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team
  • Thorough understanding of AML regulations and KYC requirements
  • Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and drive a compliance culture
