About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our team in a secondary school in Somerset. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning and helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting with classroom behaviour management
  • Ensuring the classroom and displays are presentable
  • Aiding students with pastoral care

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an adaptable, caring person who is interested in working in secondary schools. A successful candidate will need to have classroom experience and a helpful, positive attitude. Having an understanding of safeguarding and SEN students is also essential.
