Job Title: Secondary School Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our team in a secondary school in Somerset. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning and helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with their learning in the classroom
  • Assisting with classroom behaviour management
  • Ensuring the classroom and displays are presentable
  • Aiding students with pastoral care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive and can-do attitude, as well as experience of working in a secondary school setting. You will also need to have a good understanding of safeguarding and SEN students.
