Waste Management Coordinator

Axil Integrated Services Limited is a leading provider of waste management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Axil's health and safety policies, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Perform daily pre-use inspections on all machinery and vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Exchange bins around the site when full, maintaining a well-organized waste compound.
- Return full bins to Axil's waste compound, sort, and process them according to our health and safety policies.
- Regularly check waste levels in containers, book exchanges as required, and encourage a positive work culture among employees.
- Segregate and store waste streams correctly after processing, following site and Axil health & safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in training provided to enhance your role performance.
- Forklift (FLT) license and towing experience are beneficial for this role.
- Some knowledge or experience in waste management processes is also advantageous.
- This position requires hands-on support for customers with waste segregation tasks.
A stable 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, providing a good work-life balance. The estimated salary for this role is £27,500 per annum, depending on experience.
