Networker Global Limited is recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join its Duty and Assessment Team in Halton, UK.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Respond promptly to referrals and conduct high-quality assessments in accordance with statutory requirements.
  2. Investigate child protection concerns and assess risks to ensure the safety of children.
  3. Develop and implement effective care plans that prioritize the needs of each child, working closely with families and other professionals.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, providing transparency and accountability in your work.
  5. Prepare for and attend court proceedings, presenting robust written and verbal evidence as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
    • A degree or diploma in Social Work or equivalent recognized qualification is essential.
    • Registration with Social Work England (SWE) is mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a frontline social work role, preferably in a Duty and Assessment setting.
    • A strong background in child protection and risk management is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant UK legislation, policies, and procedures is necessary.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
