Audit Senior Role in Leamington Spa

We are seeking a talented auditor to join our thriving audit function in Leamington Spa. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead onsite audit teams to ensure budgets, deadlines, and expectations are met
  • Preparation of audit files
  • Draft financial statements, ensuring compliance throughout
  • Report directly to Managers and Partners
  • Liaise with HMRC on work assignments
  • Supervise junior staff both on site and in the office by reviewing work
  • Converse clearly and effectively using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Manage own workload, regularly updating Managers with work progress
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Scope out any added-value services to help support business development
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties where required

The Successful Applicant:
  • ACCA/ACA qualified, part-qualified, or studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Proven track record of leading audit assignments within a practice environment
  • Good knowledge of audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to progress
  • A strong work ethic, time management, and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress within the firm
  • Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
  • Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members
