About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments, including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Lead onsite audit teams to ensure budgets, deadlines, and expectations are met

  • Report directly to Managers and Partners, providing regular updates on audit progress
  • Liaise with HMRC on work assignments, ensuring timely and accurate completion

  • Converse clearly and effectively with clients, using software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Manage own workload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong relationships and proactively handling queries

  • Champion your own professional development, learning from the experienced team
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties, as required

The Successful Applicant
  • ACCA / ACA qualified, part-qualified, or studying
  • Proven track record of leading audit assignments in a practice environment
  • Good knowledge of audit software, including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to progress
  • A strong work ethic, time management, and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress within the firm
  • Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
  • Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members
