As a skilled Senior or Principal Chartered Town Planner, you will have the opportunity to work on significant projects in the region, engaging in high-profile City Centre redevelopments with a focus on Science and Tech, Research and Development, and substantial mixed-use developments.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced planner to join our Cambridge team, ideal for recently qualified planners eager to start their careers with a prestigious, forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will have opportunities to lead smaller projects independently while collaborating with the team on influential schemes across the country.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and ambitious Chartered Town Planner seeking to make a significant impact, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach with a passion for planning and development, and experience in town planning with a strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial and specific planning advice
  • Proactively manage engagement with local authorities and stakeholders
  • Prepare robust evidence to support planning cases
  • Develop high-quality planning submissions and Development Plan Representations
  • Represent clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process
  • Lead small schemes independently
  • Collaborate with the wider planning team on national or regional projects
About You:
  • Chartered membership with the RTPI
  • Experience in town planning with a strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach with a passion for planning and development
